We are looking for an experienced  Operational Risk & Information Security Manager to join our team in Lund.

The role.

A highly competent operational risk and information security management is instrumental to operational excellence and vital support to Finshark’s business. As our Operational Risk & Information Security Manager, you will work in the so-called first line of defense. The role comprises the responsibility to support the business on all matters related to operational risk and information security and to drive and coordinate Finshark's privacy program.

Key responsibilities.

As Operational Risk & Information Security Manager in Finshark you:

• Support in all risk assessments, for example, our new product approval process, risk and vulnerability analysis, and operational and security risk assessment.
  • Coordinate all work with business continuity management such as business impact analysis, continuity plans, continuity strategy, and strategic test plans.
  • Maintain Finshark’s overall governance framework in the information security area and ensure that the information security strategy is implemented by the first line of defense
  • Provide oversight and ensure that independent controls are conducted of Finshark ’s work with IT and information security as well as compliance with the regulatory framework regarding the management of ICT and security risks.
  • Support and advice regarding ICT and security risks.
  • Establish educational activities regarding information security for all employees.

The role ensures that recommendations from the Risk control function are addressed by the business. Further, the role is expected to provide support in the work to monitor new laws and regulations in the risk area and when analyzing potential gaps and implementing necessary actions.

You are Finshark’s contact person in relation to the outsourced Risk control function to which you also provide information on a regular basis. You plan and drive risk forums and execute internal risk awareness training in dialogue with the Risk control function.

In the privacy area, you have the overall responsibility to drive and coordinate privacy matters to ensure that the fundamental principles outlined in the external regulations are implemented throughout the business You work closely with legal expertise and the IT department to mitigate privacy risks and to support product development Further, you provide training and knowledge sharing in the area and maintain the record of processing activities as well as the general privacy and cookie notice of Finshark.

The requirements.

• A master’s or bachelor's degree in science, economics, business administration, IT or similar.
• Experience in operational risk management, including risk management methodologies, in a dynamic and rapidly evolving digital landscape. Preferably in digital banking --, telecom, or technology sector.
• Knowledge and experience with Business Continuity Management and Incident Management.
• Experience in information security management and preferably experience working with data privacy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and management. 
• Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Adaptability and the ability to stay relevant to emerging trends in technologies, risk management, and digital development.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills with interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration with both teams and individuals and building relationships.
