Do you use online banking? Help us testing our financial infrastructure and get paid!

The opportunity.

Finshark is an open banking company licensed by the Swedish Financial Conduct Authority. We create payments and financial data solutions for all kinds of businesses.

For our products to work in a new market, we need to link our financial infrastructure to the bank APIs present in that territory. Of course, before we can add a bank connection into one of our products, we need to test it thoroughly.

And that’s where you come in!

How does this work?

After you have applied, we will contact you to schedule a testing session.
We will walk you through the whole session. It's as simple as using your online banking app.
Once the connection is tested we will send you your payment. It's that easy!

We pay 315 kr. per hour!

Do you qualify for the job?

1. You hold a bank account in Norway.

Have you got one or more bank accounts in Norway? If you do, then we need you!

2. You are 18+.

The bank account holder must be at least 18 years old. Sorry, kids.

3. That's it!

FAQs

We will send you a direct bank transfer into your account as soon as the testing session is completed.
One testing session (for one bank) could take between ten minutes and one hour, but it might take longer in case we need to perform more than one testing round (maybe spread on multiple days).
If the whole testing takes less than one full hour, you will still receive 315 kr.
We are licensed and supervised by the Financial Authority in Sweden, so everything we do must always follow strict standards of security.
Also, we will not be able to initiate any activities during the test without you confirming first through your online banking app, so you are always in control.
After the testing session, we will no longer have any access to the information deriving from your account. Ever!
The testing session is simply aimed at making sure that our financial infrastructure can link and “talk” to your bank through their APIs.
Since we don’t hold an account for every existing European bank, we need the help of many bank holders just like you!
Before sharing your personal and financial data with us, we strongly recommend that you go through the documents linked in this section.
- The information we receive from you will be processed only for the purposes you have consented to and as laid out in our Testing Agreement.
- If we need to process your information for other purposes, we will inform you about this and obtain your separate consent for such.
- We take measures in protecting your personal data in accordance with the GDPR, our Privacy Policy and User’s Terms and Conditions.
Absolutely nothing! If for any reason you feel like you want to withdraw, you will be able to do so at any given time.
You will be asked to authorise a microtransaction (a very low payment of usually 1 EUR/SEK/NOK depending on your currency) from your mobile banking app.
That small money transfer will allow us to check the transaction it generates. We will of course send it back to you at the end of the session together with the bank transfer to pay for your help in full.
We will also ask you to authorise Finshark AB (from your banking app) to be able to see your transactions.
During the testing session, you should be able to access your online banking app. You can be at home or wherever as long as you will be able to use your phone connected to the internet and follow the instructions you will be given.
Absolutely not! All you need to do is to be able to use your own banking app and tell us what happens on your screen during the testing session.
Three things. We will delete all your personal data generated during the testing session, we will pay you as agreed, and we will reimburse any amount transferred from your account for testing purposes.
Of course, we can! Let us know and if there is a testing need for all your banks/accounts, we will schedule another session. You will be paid for every test you help us with.
